Services We Offer
The widest range of work we can show anywhere
Because it is our own back yard, the jobs here cover more ground than a kitchen and a bathroom. A bathroom addition with a marble-look porcelain shower and a hurricane impact awning window. A cabana bath serving a pool. A laundry room taken to floor-to-ceiling storage. A home office with a built-in desk. Some of those are in the photographs below. If you are wondering whether we take on something that is not a full kitchen, that list is the answer.
The full range, close to home
Kitchen remodeling and bathroom renovations start to finish, including the plumbing and electrical underneath. Holiday Kitchens cabinetry, countertops templated to the installed cabinets, tile and proper waterproofing, lighting, interior work anywhere in the house, additions, and handyman jobs when that is all that is needed.
Lake Worth cottages, and everything built since
The old part of the city is genuinely old by Florida standards: 1920s through 1950s cottages and bungalows, some inside historic districts, on tight lots with character worth keeping. Working on those is careful work. Original casement windows, plaster, floor plans that assumed a small kitchen at the back, and occasionally a previous renovation that nobody permitted. We open things up sympathetically and we tell you what we find as we find it.
Head west and it becomes a different market entirely – Winston Trails, Smith Farm, Journey’s End, Bellaggio and the rest. Those are newer, larger, mostly gated, and importantly they are unincorporated Palm Beach County despite the mailing address, so the permit is a county application and the association adds its own rules. We work both sides of that line constantly and we will tell you which one your house falls on before quoting.
One more thing worth saying plainly, because it confuses people: the city was renamed Lake Worth Beach in 2019. Both names are still in daily use, including by residents, and it makes no difference to the permit.
Staying put while we work
Most of our neighbors here are year-round, which makes this mainly occupied-home work rather than the empty-house summer jobs we do further up the coast. That is a specific skill. Dust barriers that are actually sealed, floors protected properly, a working sink somewhere for the duration, tools cleared at the end of the day, and a crew that remembers people live here. If you are staying put through a kitchen remodel, ask us exactly how we intend to contain it – the answer tells you a lot about any contractor.
Built the way we would build our own
Waterproofing behind tile, where Florida bathrooms fail and where nobody ever looks again. Cabinets that are American-made by Holiday Kitchens with a limited lifetime warranty, inspected in a climate-controlled warehouse and set by our own crew. Counters templated to what is actually installed. Five years of written warranty on the workmanship, from a company based a short drive from your house.
What our neighbors ask
Can you add a bathroom rather than just redo one?
Yes, and we have. The addition in the photographs is exactly that, down to the impact window. Adding one is a bigger conversation than a remodel because of drainage, structure and permitting, and it starts with what is under the slab.
Our cottage is in a historic district. Does that restrict us?
Inside the house, generally far less than owners fear. It is the exterior and the streetscape that attract scrutiny. We will establish what applies to your property before you fall in love with a plan.
Is the house on city or county water and permitting?
Depends entirely on which side of the boundary you are on, and the addresses do not make it obvious. We check it at the quotation stage, because it changes both the process and the timeline.
Do you do the smaller jobs too?
Yes. A cabana bath, a laundry, a home office with a built-in desk – those are all jobs we have done here. Ask, and if it is not worth doing we will say so.
