Services We Offer

Full service, from the studs out

Kitchen remodeling and bathroom renovations, start to finish, including the plumbing and electrical underneath them. Holiday Kitchens cabinetry, countertops templated after the cabinets are set, tile and modern waterproofing, lighting, interior work in any room, and the small jobs that a handyman would otherwise take a month to get round to.

Two very different cities under one name

West Palm is really two housing markets, and which one you live in changes almost everything about your remodel.

Out west, past the turnpike, are the gated golf communities. We have built there: a modern kitchen in The Club at Ibis with dark wood cabinetry and a white quartz peninsula looking out over the course, a walk-in shower in Calacatta marble-look tile with a brass rain head, a laundry room, and in Breakers West a tub-and-shower rebuilt in marble-look tile under an octagon window. Worth knowing: most of those communities are unincorporated Palm Beach County rather than the incorporated city, so the permit goes to the county and the association layers its own contractor rules on top. We handle both.

East of the interstate the houses are older and far more interesting. Nineteen-twenties through nineteen-fifties, some of them inside historic districts, plus the downtown condo towers with their own boards and freight-elevator schedules. Permits there go through the city’s building department. Opening up a small mid-century kitchen in one of those houses is some of the most satisfying work we do.

Old houses tell the truth slowly

A 1940s house will have plaster that does not want to come off, cast-iron drains at the end of their life, and wiring that was never meant to run a dishwasher and a microwave at once. We open the wall expecting all of it. What we find, you hear about the same day, with a price, before it turns into a surprise on an invoice. That is the part people remember about working with us.

Remodeling while the house is empty

If you are a seasonal owner, the simplest version of this job is the one that happens while you are away. Choose finishes in the spring, leave us a key, watch progress arrive as photographs, come back to a room that is finished rather than half-built. Plenty of the buildings and associations around here would rather the work happened in the quiet months in any case, and their rules are not uniform, so we read your building’s before we schedule anything.

The parts you will never see again

Waterproofing behind the tile, because that is where Florida bathrooms fail and it is the one part you will never see again. Cabinets that are American-made by Holiday Kitchens with a limited lifetime warranty, inspected in a climate-controlled warehouse before they get near your driveway, and set by our own crew. Counters templated to what is actually installed. Five years of written warranty on the workmanship afterwards.

What people here ask before they hire us

Does my permit go to the city or the county?

It depends which side of the line your house sits on, and the answer surprises people who live in a community with a West Palm Beach mailing address. The western clubs are mostly unincorporated county. We confirm it before quoting so the schedule is honest.

Can you work in a downtown condo with a service elevator and set hours?

Yes. Buildings restrict delivery windows, elevator use and work hours, and each one is different. Give us the building rules with the plans and we will build the program around them.

The kitchen is tiny and closed off. Can it be opened up?

Usually, and in those older east-side houses it is the single change that transforms the place. Whether a particular wall can come out depends on what it is holding up, which we establish properly rather than guessing.
