Subcontractors Wanted in Palm Beach County

Topnotch Remodeling builds kitchens, bathrooms and whole-home interiors across Palm Beach County, and we work with a small bench of trade partners we trust. If you run a licensed, insured crew and you do good work, we’d like to know you before we need you.

Licensed Florida State Certified Residential Contractor (CRC1332966) · 30+ years of remodeling experience · Five-year written workmanship warranty

Trades we call on

  • Tile and stone — showers, floors, backsplashes, large-format and mosaic work
  • Demolition and clean-out — careful demo in occupied homes, hauled away the same day
  • Drywall and plaster — patching into existing walls so the seam never shows
  • Painting — interior finish work, cabinets, trim
  • Plumbing, electrical and HVAC — licensed trades, on our permits
  • Countertops — templating, fabrication and install
  • Flooring, glass and shower enclosures, stucco, concrete, insulation, doors and windows

If your trade isn’t on the list and it belongs in a remodel, send your information anyway.

What we expect

  • Licensed for your trade where Florida or the county requires it.
  • General liability insurance, current, with a certificate naming Topnotch Remodeling as additional insured before you set foot on a job.
  • Workers’ compensation — coverage, or a valid officer exemption. Florida construction requires it from the first employee, and we don’t make exceptions on this one.
  • Occupied-home manners. Most of our work happens in houses people live in, or in houses their owners will walk back into in October. Floor protection, dust barriers, clean at the end of the day, and nobody’s radio at full volume.
  • You show up when you said you would, or you call before you don’t.

What you get

  • Scope in writing before you start — what’s yours, what isn’t, and what it pays.
  • Paid on the schedule we agree. No games, no disappearing act.
  • One point of contact. You deal with Steve McKenna, the owner, not a rotating project manager.
  • Repeat work when your trade comes up and the last job went well. We’re a small shop — we’d rather call the same three people than find new ones.

Send us your information

Three minutes, and it goes straight to the owner. Nothing here is a commitment on either side — it’s how we find out whether we’re a fit before there’s a job on the line.

What happens next

  1. Steve reads it. Every one, personally.
  2. We check the basics — license and insurance status, and we may ask for the certificate.
  3. A phone call, if the trade and the timing line up.
  4. A first job, usually a small one. That’s how it starts for everybody.
