Services We Offer

The work we do in Boca

Full kitchen remodeling and bathroom renovations, including the plumbing and electrical work they depend on. Holiday Kitchens cabinetry, stone countertops templated once the cabinets are actually installed, tile and waterproofing, lighting, interior remodeling anywhere in the house, and the smaller handyman work most firms will not take.

A recent Boca Raton kitchen and bath, in detail

Rather than describe a standard, here is an actual job. White Holiday Kitchens shaker cabinetry wrapped around Taj Mahal quartzite counters with a book-matched quartzite backsplash behind double wall ovens and an induction cooktop, brass fittings including a gooseneck faucet, and a panel-front refrigerator that disappears into the run. In the same house, a primary bathroom with a frameless marble walk-in shower and a quartzite double vanity. Those photographs are further down the page, and that is the level this town tends to ask for.

Which side of the interstate are you on?

It is the first question worth asking in Boca Raton, because it decides who issues your permit.

East of I-95 the houses are 1960s and 70s, plus waterfront properties that have already been taken back to the studs once or twice. Those permits go through the city’s own building department. The established coastal addresses – Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club, The Sanctuary – sit inside the city limits.

West of the interstate is country-club country, and most of it is not in the city at all. Boca West, The Polo Club, St Andrews, The Oaks and the newer Boca Bridges are unincorporated Palm Beach County, so the permit is a county application and the club adds its own contractor registration, insurance certificates, gate access and working hours. If you are out there, we are glad to quote, and we will tell you plainly which set of rules applies before we start.

The part of a remodel nobody photographs

Waterproofing behind the shower tile. It is where Florida bathrooms fail, usually a few years after someone saved money on it, and it is invisible the moment the tile goes on. We build wet areas properly and we would rather show you what is behind the wall before quoting than discover it with your money. Cabinets come from Holiday Kitchens, American-made with a limited lifetime warranty, delivered into a climate-controlled warehouse and checked before they reach you, and they are installed by our own people. Five years of written warranty covers the workmanship.

Away for the summer? That is the easy version

A good share of our work happens between May and October, in houses whose owners are north. Choose the finishes before you leave, hand over a key, follow the job in photographs, and return to a finished room instead of a construction site. A fair number of associations here would rather the noise happened then too, though no two sets of rules match, so we check yours.

Questions we get from this side of the county

My community is west of town but my address says Boca. Who permits the work?

Almost certainly the county, not the city. It catches people out constantly. We confirm it before quoting, because it changes the timeline.

Can you match cabinetry to what is already in the house?

Usually. Holiday Kitchens runs to dozens of door styles, timbers and finishes, so a new kitchen does not have to announce that it arrived two decades after the family room.

We want stone, but there is a dog and three grandchildren. What survives?

Quartzite like the Taj Mahal in the photographs is genuinely hard-wearing, and quartz harder still. Marble looks wonderful and will etch when someone spills a lemon on it. We will tell you which of those you can live with rather than selling you the most expensive slab.
