Kitchens, bathrooms, and the rooms in between

We design and build full kitchen remodeling and bathroom renovations, including the plumbing and electrical that comes with them. That means cabinetry from Holiday Kitchens, countertops templated to the cabinets once they are actually set, tile and waterproofing, lighting, interior work in any room of the house, and the smaller handyman jobs that never quite get done.

Work we have done here

The Gardens is one of the places where we can point at the work instead of describing it. In BallenIsles we built a cream kitchen with brass hardware, quartzite counters, a carved apron-front farmhouse sink and a lit glass display hutch, then opened the room up with a wrap-around peninsula facing the pool. In PGA National we turned a tub into a pebble-floor walk-in shower under a skylight, set a wood vanity with a quartz top beside it, and remodelled kitchens there in both an open-concept and a navy shaker treatment. There is a kitchen of ours in Mirasol too. The photographs further down this page are those houses.

Building inside a planned community

Most of the housing here went up between the 1980s and the 2000s, in planned and largely gated communities, and the associations that run them are organized. Contractor registration, certificates of insurance, gate access for the crew, set working hours, sometimes a deposit before a single cabinet moves. We do that paperwork most weeks of the year and would rather handle it than leave you chasing it.

Permits are a separate question, and the answer here is the city. Palm Beach Gardens runs its own building department, so anything that moves plumbing or electrical is applied for there rather than through the county. We file it.

We take on work across the rest of the Gardens as well – Old Palm, Frenchman’s Creek, Frenchman’s Reserve, Old Marsh, Evergrene and Alton among them.

If you head north for the summer

A large share of our year happens in the off season, in houses nobody is living in. If you go north in May, the easiest version of this is the one where you choose everything in spring, hand us a key, follow it in photographs, and come home to a finished room. Many associations here restrict renovation work to the quiet months anyway, and the rules differ from one community to the next, so we build the program around the calendar your club actually keeps.

What the finish has to survive

A country-club kitchen gets entertained in and looked at, which is a harder life than it sounds. Cabinets are Holiday Kitchens, made in America and carrying a limited lifetime warranty, delivered into a climate-controlled warehouse and inspected before they ever reach your driveway, then installed by our own crew rather than a subcontractor. Counters are templated to the cabinets after they are set, never guessed from a drawing. Our workmanship is covered for five years in writing.

What Gardens homeowners ask us

My association wants a contractor packet before we start. Can you produce one?

Yes, and it is routine. License, insurance certificates, the schedule, the crew, whatever else the management company asks for. Send us the form and we will fill it in.

Does the permit go through the city or the county?

Through the city. This catches people out, because so much of the land immediately west of here is unincorporated county with a different process and different timelines. We establish which one applies before we quote, not after.

Can you work around the season and the gate hours?

Yes. Most communities here set the hours a contractor can be on site, and some tighten them once the season starts. We schedule deliveries and the loud work to sit inside those windows.
