Services We Offer

What we take on

Kitchens and bathrooms in full, including the plumbing and electrical beneath them. Holiday Kitchens cabinetry, counters templated once the cabinets are in, tile and waterproofing done properly, lighting, interior work elsewhere in the house, and handyman jobs on their own.

You are going to be living here while we do it

That is the real difference about working in this village. These are family houses occupied all year, not seasonal places that sit empty from May. Nobody is flying north and handing us a key. The kitchen we are taking out is the kitchen your family eats from, and there are school runs, shift patterns and a dog with opinions.

So the question that matters is not only what we build but how we behave while we build it. Our answer, concretely: dust barriers that are actually sealed rather than a sheet taped to a doorframe, floors and routes protected properly, a temporary sink and somewhere to plug in a kettle and a microwave, tools and materials cleared out of living space at the end of every day, and a schedule that tells you which fortnight is genuinely the awkward one so you can plan around it. We will also tell you plainly which days are noisy.

If you are interviewing contractors, ask each of them exactly how they intend to contain the dust. The detail of the answer tells you most of what you need to know.

Houses built between the 1980s and the 2000s

Most of the village went up in that period, which puts a lot of these kitchens somewhere between twenty and forty years old. The bones are usually fine. What has aged is everything you touch: cabinet boxes that have given up, laminate counters, builder-grade fittings installed at the lowest cost the developer could find, and lighting that was never adequate.

That makes for satisfying work, because the layout often needs only a modest change. Removing a half-wall between the kitchen and the family room, or replacing an awkward peninsula with a proper island, changes how the whole ground floor functions without touching the structure. Communities across the village – Madison Green, Portosol, The Estates, Victoria Grove among them

  • mostly run an HOA with its own requirements on top, and we deal with that paperwork.

Permits, and who issues them

The Village of Royal Palm Beach runs its own building department, so work that moves plumbing or electrical is applied for through the village rather than the county. We make the application. It is worth knowing because the unincorporated county begins not far away and the process there is different.

The things that are worth the money

Cabinets that are American-made by Holiday Kitchens and carry a limited lifetime warranty, because cabinet boxes are the part that fails first in a family kitchen. Proper waterproofing behind bathroom tile, because that is where Florida bathrooms fail and you will never see it again. Counters templated to what is actually installed. Our own crew rather than a subcontractor, and five years of written warranty on the workmanship afterwards.

Questions from village families

How long will we be without a kitchen, realistically?

We will give you a straight answer for your job rather than a brochure number, and we will tell you in advance which stretch is genuinely without a sink. Cabinetry is made to order, so we schedule demolition around delivery instead of tearing your kitchen out and then waiting.

Can you work while the children are at school and be gone by the time they are back?

Often, for much of the job, and we are happy to work to that pattern where it suits you. Some stages are noisy and unavoidable. We will flag those days in advance so you can be elsewhere.

Our HOA wants paperwork before we start. Is that a problem?

Not at all, and it is routine. License, insurance certificates, scope and a schedule, in the format your association wants. Pass us the form.

Call 561-244-9960 and we will come and talk it through, or send the form below. We also work in Wellington and West Palm Beach.
